The Public Procurement Board

The Public Procurement Board is responsible for the proper functioning of the procurement system including conducting the following:

  • Promote the application of fair, competitive transparent, value for money standards and practices for the procurement and disposal of public assets and services.
  • Approve the evaluation committee and issuing Certificate of No Objections.
  • Approve the use of procurement methods other than open competitive tendering.
  • Take steps to minimize negative economic impact.
  • Issue directions to procuring entities to ensure compliance with the Act and Regulations.
  • Manage public procurement and disposal of public property in accordance with the Act.
  • Initiate public procurement policy and propose amendments to the Act

Office of Public Procurement

The Office of Public Procurement website has as one of its main objectives the promotion of best practices and consistency of the application of the public procurement rules in relation to the purchasing of good and services for the government of Grenada.
 
The site is designed to be a central facility for all public sector contracting authorities to advertise procurement opportunities and award notices.
