‘Work’ means the outcome of building that is sufficient to itself to fulfil an economic or technical function. Works contracts cover the execution, or both the execution and design, of works. Different procurement procedures apply, basing on the amount of the contract.

Goods

Goods contracts cover the purchase, leasing, rental or hire purchase (with or without option to buy) of products.

Services

Service contracts are meant for studies, technical assistance and are also used for audits or communication services.

Office of Public Procurement

The Office of Public Procurement website has as one of its main objectives the promotion of best practices and consistency of the application of the public procurement rules in relation to the purchasing of good and services for the government of Grenada.

The site is designed to be a central facility for all public sector contracting authorities to advertise procurement opportunities and award notices.
